Florida Introduces New Law Making Vaccinations ‘Mandatory’ For ALL Students, HPV

Children will be expelled from class if they don’t receive vaccine By: Daniel Newton |@NeonNettle on 24th January 2018 @ 8.08pm the new law comes despite leading forensic investigators finding direct links to vaccines and increased death rates © press The new law comes despite leading forensic investigators finding direct links to Vaccines and increased death rates Flordia lawmakers have introduced a new bill forcing all public school students to receive ‘mandatory’ vaccinations or face expulsion from class. SB 1558: School Health Immunizations, otherwise known as the “Women’s Cancer Prevention Act” has revised child immunization requirements to include a vaccine for human papillomavirus. The new law comes despite leading forensic investigators finding direct links between the Dengvaxia vaccine and a “rapid death rate” in Children. According to Abcactionnews.com: “If we’re not given the choice to make our own health care decisions, then what are we given the choice to do,” asked parent England Davis. Davis tells ABC Action News, she is ready to uproot her daughter from school if she’s forced to get vaccinated for HPV. “If that legislation passes, I won’t be able to keep her in public school,” said Davis. “I will not, I refuse, I will home school her out.” Public school students in Florida are already required to get vaccinations for tetanus, mumps, and other communicable diseases. “HPV causes six different types of cancer in both men and women,” said Dr. Anna Giuliano, a cancer epidemiologist with Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa. “The vaccine is very safe, the benefits far outweigh any of the side effects.” Dr. Giuliano says vaccinating more young people will help eliminate cervical cancer, the most common disease caused by HPV. “In my lifetime, we would see in the state of Florida almost no new cases of cervical cancer,” said Dr. Giuliano. Some say deciding whether or not vaccinate should be left to the parent, not the state. “Home school would be an option right away,” said Rachel Nye. “I don’t believe that anyone should be forced to vaccinate their child.”

Rare Blue Moon Total Eclipse Visibility on January 31, 2018 – Where and When!

January 31, 2018 Total Eclipse of the Blue Moon: Facts

On Wednesday, January 31, 2018 the Moon will be totally eclipsed for 1 hour and 16 minutes. Here are some things you should know about this total lunar eclipse.

Different stages of Total Lunar Eclipse over Indianapolis, United States in February 2008.

Different stages of a total lunar eclipse.

Taking pictures? Share them with us!

1. A Super Blue Blood Moon

Any total lunar eclipse is a special occasion, but the eclipse on January 31, 2018 will be extra special due to the confluence of three celestial events:

  1. Supermoon: The Moon will be quite close to Earth during the eclipse, so it will look bigger in the sky compared to an ordinary Full Moon. Because of this, many sources are suggesting that the January 31 Full Moon is a Supermoon.
  2. Blue Moon: The Full Moon on January 31, 2018 will be the second Full Moon in January or, as many people call it, a Blue Moon. A Blue Moon has two distinct definitions: It can be the third Full Moon in a season of four Full Moons, or, like in this case, it can be the second Full Moon in a month.
  3. Blood Moon: Total lunar eclipses are sometimes called Blood Moons due to the red glow the Moon takes on during totality.

Because of these three events, many people are now calling this eclipse a Super Blue Blood Moon.

By the way, the January 31, 2018 Blue Moon is noteworthy on one more account: it is the first of two Blue Moons in 2018. Years with double Blue Moons, where two months have two Full Moons, are rare—they happen only about 3 to 5 times in a century. The next year that has two months with two Full Moons each will be 2037. The last time this occurred was in 1999.

2. First Eclipse of the Year

2018 will see five eclipses—three partial solar eclipses and two total lunar eclipses.

The January 31, 2018 total lunar eclipse is the 16th total lunar eclipse since 2001, the beginning of this century, which will see 85 total lunar eclipses.

3. Some People in the US Will Get Front Row Seats

People in parts of central and western United States and Canada will be able to see totality—from start to finish—in the early morning hours of January 31, 2018, weather permitting.

Those on the East Coast will miss most of the eclipse but will be able to see a partial lunar eclipse just before the Moon sets.

After this, the next opportunity for people in mainland USA to see a total lunar eclipse will be on January 20/21, 2019.

4. Early Morning, Evening, and Night Eclipse

While people in western North America will be able to see the eclipse in the early hours of January 31, 2018, before sunrise, those in Asia will be treated to an eclipsed Full Moon in the evening of January 31, 2018 after the Moon rises.

In Australia and New Zealand, the eclipse will be visible in the night. Those in locations following Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), Australian Central Daylight Time (ACDT), Australian Central Standard Time (ACST), and Australian Western Standard Time (AWST) will see the maximum eclipse take place before midnight on January 31.

The maximum eclipse will take place after midnight on February 1 in cities that have Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) and New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT).

A partial solar eclipse looks like the Moon has taken a bite of the Sun.

5. No Need for Eye Protection

Total eclipses of the Moon are spectacular events and are easy to see with the naked eye. Unlike solar eclipses, which require protective eyewear, a lunar eclipse can be viewed without specialized eye protection. Just step outside, look up at the sky, and enjoy!

6. It Will Be Followed by a Partial Solar Eclipse

Solar and lunar eclipses tend to follow each other—a lunar eclipse always takes place two weeks before or after a solar eclipse. The January 31, 2018 total lunar eclipse will be followed by a partial solar eclipse on February 15, 2018.

7. It Is Part of Lunar Saros Series 124

Lunar eclipses tend to occur in 18-year long cycles called Saros cycles. In lunar month terms, a Saros cycle lasts for 223 synodic months. Lunar eclipses separated by a Saros cycle share similar features, including the time of the year and the distance of the Moon from the Earth. Eclipses that are separated by a Saros cycle are included in a Saros series.

Urgent Public Message for President Trump from Judge Anna von Reitz

Urgent Public Message for President Trump from Judge Anna

Everyone— pay attention.

Last year on January 20, 2017, President Trump took his Oath of Office.

An Office in the Territorial Government is a Public Trust.

Trusts do not become law for a year and a day.

His Office, his Trust, would have become law on January 21st of this year— but that didn’t happen, because Chuck Schumer contrived to shut down the government for three days at precisely the critical time.

This is called “breaking the continuity of the evidence”.

As a result, nothing that President Trump did during his entire first year in Office, all the laws and Executive Orders and Directives he signed—- technically didn’t cure.

Now, either he did this to himself because he wanted to void out mistakes made during the first year of His Presidency, or, far more likely, the Dems saw their opportunity to “win” by technicality and are scheming to invalidate everything he has done and everything he will do this next year and after—-just by sitting back and not telling him that his Office never cured.

These are very devious, very skillful, very evil men he is dealing with, people who have been trained in the black arts and ecclesiastical law. He truly is contesting with Evil in High Places, so it is important that the “Good Witches” and “White Hats” surround him and educate and warn him and protect him, just as I am doing by writing this memo today.

To counteract this, he has to re-take his Oath of Office, re-do the things he wants to stick— re-sign legislation, re-issue Executive Orders, etc.—and begin the whole timeline over again, being sure that his Office cures and is not interrupted by any more chicanery for a year and a day.

Thereafter, his work will stand and his term will run and there won’t be anything that anyone can say or do against it.

And now you all know why Democrat Chuck Schumer appeared to shut down the government for three days “for no reason”.

Trump Officially Restores Cold War

On January 20th, CBS News bannered “Terrorism no longer the military’s top priority, Mattis says” and opened:

“There is a major change in US military strategy. On Friday, more than 16 years after the 9/11 attacks, US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said terrorism is no longer the No. 1 priority.”

The report said, “Maintaining a military advantage over China and Russia is now Defense Secretary Mattis’ top priority.”

On January 18th, the Trump Administration had issued its crucial document about how it will implement America’s national defense from now on. This document, the National Defense Strategy 2018, represents a continuation of US President Barack Obama’s vision and intentions, but extends Obama’s hostility toward Russia, by adding Trump’s hostility toward China.

In December 2017, US President Donald Trump had issued his National Security Strategy 2018 (the NSS2018); but, in keeping with his prior commitment to leaving to the generals the implementation of his national security policy, the Pentagon has now issued this National Defense Strategy 2018 (the NDS2018), which is signed only by Trump’s minister for war (Secretary of ‘Defense’), “Jim Mattis”; and it’s considerably more informative on what the practical meaning of NSS2018 will be. The meaning is: the replacement of hostility against “radical Islamic terrorism,” by hostility against Russia and China — this, the building upon Obama’s imperial vision, is now Trump’s ‘Defense’ policy. Trump’s campaign talk against ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ was merely bumper-sticker stuff, to win votes.

In continuation from Obama’s National Security Strategy 2015, which had accused Russia 18 times of “aggression,” Trump’s National Defense Strategy 2018 (NDS2018) effectively declares at least an economic war against Russia (as if economics were also in General Mattis’s portfolio), but it goes even further to include China as being now also America’s enemy. It thus officially restores, in effect, the Cold War — the war against communism — that had existed until US President Richard Nixon’s visit to China, during 21 to 28 February 1972. It also intensifies the war against Russia, even now, 37 years after the 1991 breakup of the Soviet Union and end of its Warsaw Pact and end of its communism, had ended the Cold War (but only on Russia’s side, not really on America’s).

Trump’s new document (through his agent Mattis) says that non-state terrorism (Al Qaeda, etc.) is no longer the biggest threat to America’s security; these two “authoritarian” nations pose the biggest threat to America, says the NDS2018. This document asserts: “It is increasingly clear that China and Russia want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model — gaining veto authority over other nations’ economic, diplomatic, and security decisions.”

(“Authoritarian” is now what “communist” once was — the US Government’s verbal bugaboo and America’s official excuse for invasions and coups.) It continues:

The central challenge to US prosperity and security is the reemergence of long-term, strategic competition by what the National Security Strategy classifies as revisionist powers. It is increasingly clear that China and Russia want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model — gaining veto authority over other nations’ economic, diplomatic, and security decisions.

China is leveraging military modernization, influence operations, and predatory economics to coerce neighboring countries to reorder the Indo-Pacific region to their advantage. As China continues its economic and military ascendance, asserting power through an all-of-nation long-term strategy, it will continue to pursue a military modernization program that seeks Indo-Pacific regional hegemony in the near-term and displacement of the United States to achieve global preeminence in the future. The most far-reaching objective of this defense strategy is to set the military relationship between our two countries on a path of transparency and non-aggression.

Concurrently, Russia seeks veto authority over nations on its periphery in terms of their governmental, economic, and diplomatic decisions, to shatter the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and change European and Middle East security and economic structures to its favor. The use of emerging technologies to discredit and subvert democratic processes in Georgia, Crimea, and eastern Ukraine is concern enough, but when coupled with its expanding and modernizing nuclear arsenal the challenge is clear.

It then says, “Rogue regimes such as North Korea and Iran are destabilizing regions through their pursuit of nuclear weapons or sponsorship of terrorism.” So: those four countries — China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran — are now the top targets for the US military to defeat.

The NDS2018 document continues, “Both revisionist powers and rogue regimes are competing across all dimensions of power. They have increased efforts short of armed conflict by expanding coercion to new fronts, violating principles of sovereignty, exploiting ambiguity, and deliberately blurring the lines between civil and military goals.”

Right now, the US is militarily occupying, as an uninvited invading power violating the sovereignty of parts of the sovereign nation of Syria, whose internationally recognized (except by the US and its vassal-states) Government is the one that had won internationally monitored elections in 2014, and whose incumbent President Bashar al-Assad won, in those elections, 89% of the vote throughout the entire country. Even independent Western-sponsored polling in Syria has repeatedly shown that Assad would easily win any national election in his country, and that 82% of Syrians blame the US Government (not Assad) for having brought the tens of thousands of jihadists into their country and caused the Syrian war that destroyed the nation. On 31 October 2015, U.N. Secretary General Ban ki-Moon twice criticized US President Barack Obama’s refusal to allow the Syrian people to determine whom their President would be. Ban said, “The future of Assad must be determined by the Syrian people,” but the US Government kept ignoring him on that; and US President Trump’s minister of war now says that the way to defeat countries that are “violating principles of sovereignty” is to continue occupying countries that never invited them in.

Under the heading “Build a More Lethal Force,” the NDS2018 document says, “The surest way to prevent war is to be prepared to win one.” To do this, it will rely on “the Joint Force” (which the document fails to define) in this way:

Prioritize preparedness for war. Achieving peace through strength requires the Joint Force to deter conflict through preparedness for war. During normal day-to-day operations, the Joint Force will sustainably compete to: deter aggression in three key regions — the Indo-Pacific, Europe, and Middle East; degrade terrorist and WMD threats; and defend US interests from challenges below the level of armed conflict. In wartime, the fully mobilized Joint Force will be capable of: defeating aggression by a major power; deterring opportunistic aggression elsewhere; and disrupting imminent terrorist and WMD threats. During peace or in war, the Joint Force will deter nuclear and non-nuclear strategic attacks and defend the homeland. To support these missions, the Joint Force must gain and maintain information superiority; and develop, strengthen, and sustain US security relationships.

The document sub-heads “Strengthen Alliances and Attract New Partners,” and says, “By working together with allies and partners we amass the greatest possible strength for the long-term advancement of our interests, maintaining favorable balances of power that deter aggression and support the stability that generates economic growth.” This includes “Fortify the Trans-Atlantic NATO Alliance” but is global.

This document thus actually embodies, but in some ways extends and amplifies, US President Barack Obama’s 28 May 2014 statement to America’s graduating class at the West Point Military Academy:

The United States is and remains the one indispensable nation. That has been true for the century passed and it will be true for the century to come. … Russia’s aggression toward former Soviet states unnerves capitals in Europe, while China’s economic rise and military reach worries its neighbors. From Brazil to India, rising middle classes compete with us, and governments seek a greater say in global forums. … It will be your generation’s task to respond to this new world.

To Obama, all nations other than the US — even America’s allies — are “dispensable”; only the US is not. Hitler’s version was “Deutschland über alles”; and, like Amerika’s version, it comes from the accepted popular culture, not from the imperialist’s own overheated imagination. In fact, Americans respect the military above all other institutions — more than all the rest of the Government — just like Germans did, leading up to Hitler. And, just like Donald Trump himself does. Amerika isn’t Athens; it is Sparta.

As I had previously noted under the headline “Trump Continues Obama’s Wars Against Democracy”: “He was telling the military that America’s economic competition, against the BRICS nations, is a key matter for America’s military, and not only for America’s private corporations.”

However, even General Mattis has now acknowledged that one important component of achieving this global empire will be to “Strengthen Alliances and Attract New Partners,” which now seems less likely under Trump than it was under Obama.

Perhaps the Trump Administration will try to compensate for that area of increasing US weakness, by increasing even more its weaponry and troop-numbers.

Supersonic Air Drills: Russia’s Pacific Fleet Prepares For Enemy Incursion

Russian military jets of the Pacific Fleet’s naval aviation unit (Pacific Fleet) in Kamchatka, a peninsula in the Russian Far East, have been drilling at supersonic speeds along the country’s Pacific coastline preparing for a rapid enemy incursion.

Earlier this week, fighter-pilots conducted supersonic air battles as high as 20km (12.4274-miles) in the stratosphere, while they simulated intercepting enemy fighter aircraft at high rates of speed, said Itar-Tass. One of the fighter jets had to find and intercept the second, who played the violator, without using land-based technologies such as air defense weapons, the official representative of the Pacific Fleet, Nikolai Voskresensky, stated.

The high-altitude fighter-interceptor MiG-31, flying at an altitude of about 20 km, acted as a violator of the air border, before the crew of the ‘intruder’ was to penetrate at the maximum speed into the airspace of Russia, to go through the established line and escape from possible persecution. On the alert from the Yelizovo air base (Kamchatka Krai), the MiG-31 interceptor was raised . In order to complicate the task, the search for and destruction of the “offender” was ordered by the MiG-31 crew independently, without the involvement of ground agents Defense “

– said the Resurrection via Itar-Tass.

According to Itar-Tass, the pilots of the Mig-31s cruised at supersonic speeds of more than 2200 km/h (1367 mph) and located the “intruder” aircraft at an altitude of nearly 20km (12.4274-miles) in the stratosphere. The Russian paper further says all “intruders” were eliminated and the mission ended in success. Voskresenskiy said the intercepting aircraft fired on the intruding aircraft from a distance of 100km (60 miles). In pace of actual missiles, the planes used special electronic signaling to simulate the kill.

The Mikoyan MiG-31 is a Cold War-era jet, designed by the Mikoyan and Gurevich Design Bureau, which is now called Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG. NATO codenamed the Mig-31 “Foxhound,” after its impressive acceleration and interception abilities to deter and attack high-altitude intruders.

The air drill serves as a warning sign that Russia is preparing its air defenses for conflict, especially in the Russian far east. More importantly, the type of exercise signals that Russia is making adjustments for high altitude combat. Russian Pacific Forces on the Kamchatka peninsula, are some of the first lines of defense against an enemy incursion in the air or by sea on its Pacific Coast.

While the Trump administration prepares the American people and its allies for war on the Korean Peninsula, the Russians have taken note and have conducted wartime preparations before the powder-keg ignites in North Korea. The countdown has started, the writing is on the wall, otherwise, why are militaries in the region all rushing at the same time to prepare for war?

Things Are Getting Worse, Not Better: Round Ups, Checkpoints, & National ID Cards

Authored by John Whitehead via The Rutherford Institute,

Here in Amerika, things are getting worse – not better – as the nation inches ever closer towards totalitarianism, that goose-stepping form of tyranny in which the government has all of the power and “we the people” have none.

Take what happened recently in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

On Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, immigration agents boarded a Greyhound bus heading to downtown Miami from Orlando and demanded that all passengers provide proof of residence or citizenship. One grandmother, traveling by bus to meet her granddaughter for the first time, was arrested and taken off the bus when she couldn’t provide proof of residency.

This isn’t is a new occurrence.

A year ago, passengers arriving in New York’s JFK Airport on a domestic flight from San Francisco were ordered to show their “documents” to border patrol agents in order to get off the plane.

With the government empowered to carry out transportation checks to question people about their immigration status within a 100-mile border zone that wraps around the country, you’re going to see a rise in these “show your papers” incidents.

That’s a problem, and I’ll tell you why.

We are not supposed to be living in a “show me your papers” society.

Despite this, the U.S. government has recently introduced measures allowing police and other law enforcement officials to stop individuals (citizens and noncitizens alike), demand they identify themselves, and subject them to patdowns, warrantless searches, and interrogations.

These actions fly in the face of longstanding constitutional safeguards forbidding such police state tactics.

Set aside the debate over illegal immigration for a moment and think long and hard about what it means when government agents start demanding that people show their papers on penalty of arrest.

The problem with allowing government agents to demand identification from anyone they suspect might be an illegal immigrant—the current scheme being employed by the Trump administration to ferret out and cleanse the country of illegal immigrants—is that it lays the groundwork for a society in which you are required to identify yourself to any government worker who demands it.

Such tactics quickly lead one down a slippery slope that ends with government agents empowered to subject anyone—citizen and noncitizen alike—to increasingly intrusive demands that they prove not only that they are legally in the country, but also that they are in compliance with every statute and regulation on the books.

This flies in the face of the provisions of the Fourth Amendment, which protects the American people from undue government interference with their movement and from baseless interrogation about their identities or activities. The Rutherford Institute has issued a Constitutional Q&A on “The Legality of Stop and ID Procedures” that provides some guidance on one’s rights if stopped and asked by police to show identification.

Unfortunately, even with legal protections on the books, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for the average American to avoid falling in line with a national identification system.

We’re almost at that point already.

Passed by Congress in 2005 and scheduled to take effect nationwide by October 2020, the Real ID Act, which imposes federal standards on identity documents such as state drivers’ licenses, is the prelude to this national identification system.

Fast forward to the Trump administration’s war on illegal immigration, and you have the perfect storm necessary for the adoption of a national ID card, the ultimate human tracking device, which would make the police state’s task of monitoring, tracking and singling out individual suspects—citizen and noncitizen alike—far simpler.

Americans have always resisted adopting a national ID card for good reason: it gives the government and its agents the ultimate power to target, track and terrorize the populace according to the government’s own nefarious purposes.

You see, it’s a short hop, skip and a jump from allowing government agents to stop and demand identification from someone suspected of being an illegal immigrant to empowering government agents to subject anyone—citizen and noncitizen alike—to increasingly intrusive demands that they prove not only that they are legally in the country, but that they are also lawful, in compliance with every statute and regulation on the books, and not suspected of having committed some crime or other.

It’s no longer a matter of if, but when.

You may be innocent of wrongdoing now, but when the standard for innocence is set by the government, no one is safe. Everyone is a suspect. And anyone can be a criminal when it’s the government determining what is a crime.

Remember, the police state does not discriminate.

At some point, it will not matter whether your skin is black or yellow or brown or white. It will not matter whether you’re an immigrant or a citizen. It will not matter whether you’re rich or poor. It won’t even matter whether you’re driving, flying or walking.

Eventually, when the police state has turned that final screw and slammed that final door, all that will matter is whether some government agent—poorly trained, utterly ignorant of the Constitution, way too hyped up on the power of their badges, and authorized to detain, search, interrogate, threaten and generally harass anyone they see fit—chooses to single you out for special treatment.

We’ve been having this same debate about the perils of government overreach for the past 50-plus years, and still we don’t seem to learn, or if we learn, we learn too late.

All of the excessive, abusive tactics employed by the government today—warrantless surveillance, stop and frisk searches, SWAT team raids, roadside strip searches, asset forfeiture schemes, private prisons, indefinite detention, militarized police, etc.—started out as a seemingly well-meaning plan to address some problem in society that needed a little extra help.

In the case of a national identification system, it might start off as a means of curtailing illegal immigration, but it will end up as a means of controlling the American people.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, whatever dangerous practices you allow the government to carry out now—whether it’s in the name of national security or protecting America’s borders or making America great again—rest assured, these same practices can and will be used against you when the government decides to set its sights on you.

Paul Craig Roberts Fears “Another Step Towards Armageddon”

The US military/security complex has taken another step toward Armageddon.

The Pentagon has prepared a nuclear posture review (NPR) that gives the OK to development of smaller “useable” nuclear weapons and permits their use in response to a non-nuclear attack.

As Reagan and Gorbachev understood, but the warmongers who have taken over America do not, there are far too many nuclear weapons already. Some scientists have concluded that even the use of 10 percent of either the US or Russian arsenal would suffice to destroy life on earth.

It is reckless and irresponsible for Washington to make such a decision in the wake of years of aggressive actions taken against Russia. The Clinton criminal regime broke Washington’s promise that NATO would not move one inch to the East. The George W. Bush criminal regime pulled out of the ABM Treaty and changed US war doctrine to elevate the use of nuclear weapons from retaliation to first strike. The Obama criminal regime launched a frontal propaganda attack on Russia with crazed Hillary’s denunciation of President Putin as “the new Hitler.” In an effort to evict Russia from its naval base in Crimea, the criminal Obama regime overthrew the Ukrainian government during the Sochi Olympics and installed a Washington puppet. US missile bases have been established on Russia’s border, and NATO conducts war games against Russia on Russian borders.

This is insanity. These and other gratuitous provocations have convinced the Russian military’s Operation Command that Washington is planning a surprise nuclear attack on Russia. The Russian government has replied to these provocations with the statement that Russia will never again fight a war on its own territory.

Those such as myself and Stephen Cohen, who point out that Washington’s reckless and irresponsible behavior has created an enemy out of a country that very much wanted to be friends, do not get much attention from the presstitute media. The US military/security complex needs an enemy sufficient to justify its vast budget and power, and the Western media has accommodated that selfish and dangerous need.

Russia today is far stronger and better armed than the Soviet Union ever was. Russia also has an alliance with China, an economic and military power. This alliance was created by Washington’s threats against both countries.

Europe and Japan need to understand that they have responsibility for the resurrection of the Cold War in a far more dangerous form than existed in the 20th century. Europe and Japan, whose political leaders are owned by Washington, have taken money from Washington and sold out their peoples along with the rest of humanity.

The entirety of the Western World is devoid of intelligent political leadership. This leaves countries such as Russia, China and Iran with the challenge of preserving life on earth as the Western World pushes humanity toward Armageddon.

Trump flipflop: US bases to stay in post-war Syria for blocking Russian-Iranian consolidation

President Trump’s decision to keep US troops in post-war Syria comes ahead of his Friday deadline for re-certifying the nuclear accord with Iran, DEBKAfile reports exclusively from Washington.

The decision to retain US bases in northern Syria after the Islamic State’s defeat not only poses a challenge for the plans Moscow has drawn up for Syria, but is another slap in the face for Tehran. It is a reversal of the former White House policy, designed by Trump’s advisers led by National Security Adviser Gen. HR McMaster, to try and work together with President Vladimir Putin on the shape of post-war Syria. They had recommended the drawdown of US troops in the country, following the removal of all foreign forces, especially Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Hizballah and the various pro-Iranian Shiite militias fighting for the Assad regime.

Hidden Israeli-Iranian war in Syria

Civil defence team look for survivors after an air strike took place in Idlib, Syria on 2 January 2018 [Muaz Yemen/Anadolu Agency]

The reports state that the missiles are particularly advanced and accurate and could potentially undermine Israel’s strategic domiance and enable Iranian proxies to target anywhere in Israel.

On Wednesday, military analyst in Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, Alex Fishman, said that in the wake of these Israeli attacks, the “hidden war” of Israel against Iran in the Syrian territories has been disclosed.

He wrote: “We have to get used to the idea that Israel is apparently engaged in a military confrontation, disciplined in the meantime, against an Iranian military regime that is stabilizing in Syria. The Cabinet of Israel (Israeli security government), which has recently discussed the Israeli policy in the northern front against Syria, Lebanon and Iran, has probably came to this exact conclusion.”

Read: ‘Israel will act in Syria according to its security needs,’ Netanyahu says

Last year, Israeli reports talked about the possibility of Iran establishing air, sea and land bases in Syria and pushing “Shiite militias” into military activities against Israel. Fishman suggested that “Israel cannot ignore such threats, but they do not form the real military challenge. The main problem with the Syrian front is the establishment of a dense system of surface-to-surface missiles and precision rocket-propelled missiles that begin from Lebanon and extend to the south of Golan and cover the entire Israeli territory. Such scenario puts Israel against an unprecedented challenge. At the same time, Iranians are establishing a missile front in Gaza, which forces the Israeli army to divide efforts in fighting against short-range missiles from the north and south.”

Fishman added that in case Russians and Americans are not able or willing to prevent this in diplomatic ways, “it seems that Israel has no choice but to act on its own, and it is no longer possible to hide behind vague statements and insinuations. This is a war in every sense of the word. The enemy has to know this, and most importantly, the public in Israel must understand this and prepare for this situation.”

Following the statements of Israeli officials, including Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman who described Syria and Lebanon as one front and called it the Northern Front, Fishman concluded that “the war against these regimes will continue with a changing force and related to the Syrian-Iranian reaction and Hezbollah. If none of these forces would retreat, a war might erupt. There are still no signs of a retreat of the Iranian side.” He went on: “In the past two years, Iran has succeeded in existing in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen and deepened its influence in Oman and Bahrain. The Iranian administration – especially the Islamic Revolutionary Guard – is in a state of ecstasy because of the sense of victory in Syria.”

From another side, military analysts and Arab affairs analysts in the Israeli media considered that the Syrian army’s issuance of a statement on the Israeli attack on Tuesday and other precedent attacks would send a warning message to Israel from a Syrian reaction, though the regime army’s statement claimed that its anti-missiles system intercepted the Israeli missiles.

On Wednesday, military analyst in Israel Hayom newspaper, Yoav Limor, wrote that “this statement should be worrisome because it is another stage in the process of increasing the renewed self-confidence of Al-Assad and his army. Meanwhile, Israel seems to be doing what it wants in Syria. It is attacking what it wants, where it wants and when it wants. However, this is not an eternal immunity. Any side might counterattack at any time.”

Limor went on: “There is no such side at the current time.” He also pointed out that “Israel will try to take advantage of Al-Assad’s preoccupation with recovering from the war and Iran’s preoccupation with the elimination of internal protests in order to improve its positions. Although Iran is strategically planning to stabilise itself in Syria, its recent efforts to practically implement this have been foiled by the attack on the military base that it has established in Damascus (bombed by Israel on Tuesday morning). It is not clear when Iranians will resume their efforts, but in Israel they are preparing to face this.”

Limor pointed to the annual intelligence assessment of the Israeli army, which predicted that there is little possibility of a war to be initiated. However, there are high possibilities of an unplanned escalation. “Such escalation could develop from an Israeli attack in Syria, including attacks that have quietly passed so far, and in the future, there might be those who would respond to them.”

Arab League backs Palestinian bid for UN membership

The Arab League has endorsed a Palestinian plan to seek full membership at the United Nations, in a move likely to lead to a confrontation with the US in the UN security council.

Negotiations with Israel on the terms of Palestinian statehood have been frozen since 2008. As an alternative the Palestinians have decided to seek UN recognition of an independent “Palestine” in the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem, areas Israel captured in the 1967 six-day war.

Arab League foreign ministers meeting in Doha said they would support the Palestinian bid.

The ministers pledged in a statement to “take all necessary measures and to rally needed support of all world countries, starting with members of the security council, to recognise the state of Palestine … and to win full membership of the United Nations”.

US launches investigation into Hizbollah’s backers

The US government is to investigate the alleged involvement of Hizbollah in illegal activities, including drug trafficking.

The US department of justice (DOJ) yesterday launched the inquiry by assigning a team of prosecutors to a Hizbollah financing and narcoterrorism team (HFNT).

Attorney-general Jeff Sessions described the team as “a group of experienced international narcotics trafficking, terrorism, organised crime, and money laundering prosecutors”.

The HFNT prosecutors and investigators will be “tasked with investigating individuals and networks providing support to Hizbollah, and pursuing prosecutions in any appropriate cases”.

Mr Sessions referred to examining evidence from earlier investigations, including cases resulting from Project Cassandra, a law enforcement initiative targeting Hizbollah’s drug trafficking and related operations which – according to a Politico investigation last month – was scaled back and shelved by the Barack Obama administration.

“The justice department will leave no stone unturned in order to eliminate threats to our citizens from terrorist organisations and to stem the tide of the devastating drug crisis,” said Mr Sessions.

The US attorney-general took a swipe at the Obama administration’s record, pledging to “ensure that all Project Cassandra investigations as well as other related investigations, whether past or present, are given the needed resources and attention to come to their proper resolution.”

Tactically, “the team will initiate prosecutions that will restrict the flow of money to foreign terrorist organisations, as well as disrupt violent international drug trafficking operations.”

Leading the team will be acting assistant attorney Gen John P Cronan of the justice department’s criminal division. He will supervise the HFNT, and “will convene a co-ordination meeting focused on identifying and combating such support to Hizbollah”.

The team tasked by the DOJ will co-ordinate with, among others, “investigators from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), including the DEA’s special operations Division; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Homeland Security Investigations; assistant United States attorneys; and lawyers from the justice department’s criminal division and national security division.”

The DOJ announcement came as the Trump administration finalises its decision on the Iran nuclear deal, which sources say the president will not abandon today.

Mr Trump met his national security team in Washington yesterday ahead of the deadline for deciding on sanctions on Iran’s nuclear programme.

Congressional and administration sources said Mr Trump will sign the waiver and save the deal by continuing to offer Iran sanctions relief on the nuclear side but at the same time impose targeted sanctions on other sectors, possibly including individuals and businesses involved in the crackdown against the recent street protests.

Angry Protesters Burn EU Flags As Chaos Strikes Bulgaria

It was supposed to be a time of celebration of Europe’s unelected oligarchs. Instead, protests broke out on the streets of Sofia, Bulgaria where demonstrators burned EU flags because they feel ignored by the bloc. Appropriately, protests kicked off in the capital Sofia on the same night Bulgaria took over its first Presidency of the European Council from January 2018 until June 2018.

EU commissioners are in the city as Bulgaria begins its presidency – and guests at the opening ceremony of the presidency in Sofia, including European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and the Council head Donald Tusk, the Express reports.

According to Sofia Globe, 11 protests are being held across the city tonight.

Former president Rossen Plevneliev said: “These protests are not a symbol of future political action, but they are telling us something important – the whole political elite has not done its job over the years.”

George Pykov, a Bulgarian who is currently an executive committee member for Young Independence and studying Law at the University of Portsmouth told Express.co.uk: “The EU has no interest in Bulgaria or any Eastern European country.

“Issues that were meant to be solved have not, and I’m pleased to hear that Bulgarians are fighting back against an expansionist and fanatic Union.

“I and many other Bulgarians living in Britain hope that, one day, we will see a Bulgarian exit from the EU to join the UK in an exciting new, independent future.

“It is time for Bulgaria to be free from mob rule.”

Lilyana Pavlova, Bulgaria’s minister for the EU Presidency, said last Friday: “Personally, I would rather not have the Presidency begin with protests, whatever their goal is … it’s just that all the international media will be here to see Bulgaria.”

The Interior Ministry Employees Syndicate, the largest police union, said it planned to greet the EU official cars with banners. The union has been campaigning for a 15-per cent pay rise for months.

Other groups protesting include a planned march in defence of the ratification of The Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence and The Alliance for Defence Against Violence Based on Gender, organised a march in front of parliament, to “say STOP to ignorance and violence in our country!”

These latest protests come after thousands took to the streets last week to to protest against plans to expand the skiing resort of Bansko. NGO “For the Nature”, said the plan approved by the Bulgarian government, allowing the construction of a second cabin lift, violated the Protected Areas Act and the European Habitats Directive.

Nearly 800 arrested as protests continue in Tunisia

Nearly 800 people have been arrested in a wave of violent protests in Tunisia, authorities said on Friday after fresh unrest over austerity measures hit a provincial town.

Police fired tear gas at dozens of youths who pelted them with stones for some three hours overnight in the northern town of Siliana.

But the situation appeared calm in other flashpoint towns and neighbourhoods across the country where clashes with police left dozens of officers injured.

Interior ministry spokesman Khalifa Chibani said 151 people were arrested on Thursday, taking the number detained in several nights of unrest to 778.

Planned Parenthood Brags: We Did 320k Abortions, Took $540 Million In Tax Dollars

Planned Parenthood has reported having received $543.7 million in payments from the government, while also allowing its affiliates to perform 321,384 abortions in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2016, reports CNS News.

“Government Health Services Reimbursements & Grants,” is the report that showed these numbers in the year that ended on June 30, 2017.

According to a report by the Government Accountability Office, Medicaid and the federal Title X Family Planning Program both provide tax dollars to Planned Parenthood.

This was summarized in a Congressional Research Service report that was published in May 2017. Planned Parenthood Federation of America affiliates received $400.56 million in Medicaid funding in 2012 and $64.35 in Title X funding.

In the fiscal 2016 year, according to these numbers, Planned Parenthood has done approximately 878 abortions for every day of the past year. Since 2016 was a leap year, that number is actually for 366 days.

“If Planned Parenthood had done its abortions non-stop 24-hours-a-day for the full year, they would have needed to abort approximately 37 babies every hour–or one every 98 seconds–to reach 321,384 abortions for the year,” reports CNS News.

It’s disgusting to think about that many innocent lives being shut out every hour, and the fact that our government allows and even helps fund those kinds of operations is almost too much to think about.

Perhaps the government should stop funding the killing of innocent lives and start focusing on protecting those lives instead and invest in proper child care and maternity care for the parents who have to deal with this scenario in the first place. Let’s also take care of women who become pregnant unwontedly and help them with the process instead of scaring them into this sickening situation.

There are many steps that can be taken to help solve this problem, and killing innocent children doesn’t have to be the one and only step.
